The Origin of Zezhou; The Global  Gaodu


高都，是泽州之源，晋城之首
The ancient town of Gaodu is the origin of Zezhou county and the first cultural town of Jincheng city.
历史上多次在此设县立郡，
Historically, counties and cities were set up here for many times.

是古代泽州当之无愧的政治,
It’s the well-deserved political ,
经济、文化中心，
economic and cultural center of the ancient Zezhou county.

太行、垂棘见证了它的成长，
The Taihang Mountain and Chuiji Hill have witnessed its growth,
丹河、源泽记录了它的历史。
while Dan River (Yuanze Water) recorded its history.
从空中俯瞰，
Overlooking from the air,
这里像一个盛载万物的聚宝盆，
It’s like a cornucopia filled with all things;
土地肥沃，风光秀美。
The land is fertile and the scenery is beautiful.
从历史观瞻，仰韶文化.
Historically, Yangshao culture (of 6,000-7,000 years ago)
夏商周文化、北魏鲜卑文化,
Xia Shang and Zhou culture, the Northern Wei Xianbei culture,
隋唐佛教文化、宋金寺庙文化,
the Buddhist culture of Sui and Tang dynasties, the temple culture of Song and Jin dynasties,
明清商贸及民居文化皆交汇于此，
Commerce and residential culture of Ming and Qing all converged here.
是“眺望古泽州文明的窗口”。
It’s "the window of overlooking the ancient Zezhou civilization ".
从地理叙说，以“五龙朝凤”迎宾，
Geographically, there are "geographical geomancy of five dragons and worshipping phoenixes" welcoming guests;
以“十庙七阁三设施”待客，
with "many cultural places of ten temples, seven pavilions and three facilities" receiving the guests.
骡马大道从这里穿过，
The Mules Avenue passes through here.
文化与财富，由此走向华夏的四面八方。
The culture and wealth spread across China from here.
